'The New Wave' Whitelock's & The Turk's Head annual beer festival - Leeds (PREVIEW)


'CELEBRATING THE NEW WAVE OF UK BREWERS AND FIRM FAVOURITES PRODUCING MODERN, PROGRESSIVE BEERS'

THURSDAY 26 JULY – SUNDAY 29 JULY 2018


Leeds - a city at the very forefront of craft beer in the UK has another mouthwatering event coming your way this weekend. Whitelock's and The Turk's Head are back to host their fourth annual beer festival, this year celebrating ‘The New Wave’ of UK brewers, "by showcasing the firm favourites who are producing modern, progressive beers". 


Be it cask or keg you're taste buds desire, the festival will feature some of the finest breweries the UK has to offer.

Plus local breweries who have impacted hard on the UK's craft beer scene...

And if that's not enough of a teaser already, there will be some incredibly rare and highly sort after rare brews from numerous breweries. Keep 'em peeled!

Between Whitelock's and The Turk's Head there will be at least 68 different beers to try over the course of the entire event, with 28 on tap at any one time. If you know Leeds, you know Whitelock's - The oldest pub in town dating back to 1715 with a fine reputation for amazing cask ales, great food and cracking atmosphere. Next door, The Turk's Head opened as it's sister bar in just 2016. Specialising in modern craft beer on keg, in bottles and cans as well as a couple of cask lines, plus wines, spirits and cocktails.

There'll be DJ's spinning tunes in the yard on the Friday and Saturday nights, plus fine street food courtesy of Capish? who'll be heading North from their residency at Mason & Company in London, and serving up a special menu for the event.

Fine weather, fine beers, fine food and great music... what more could you possibly wish for?
